Kinda Canal
Kinda Canal and its lake system is one of Sweden's most beautiful waterways.
Stångån and its lake system is one of Sweden's most beautiful waterways with a total of 15 hand-operated locks. Maximum dimensions for boat: Length 24,50 meters; width 4.50 meters; depth 1.50 meter; height 3.09 meters.
From the Göta Canal you can reach Kinda Canal via Lake Roxen and Stångån.
Hycklinge is located on the shore of Lake Åsunden in southern Kinda and there is a boat transport with trailer to the east coast and Gamleby.
From Kinda Canal you can get to both the east and west coast via Göta canal and Kinda Canal.
At AB Kinda Kanal you can get information about opening hours, locks, charts, guest harbours and fees etc. to travel on Kinda Canal.
In summer you can take day or evening trips on the passenger boat M/S Kind.
